KeCo Farm Show Cattle
Quality.
We raise Angus, Simmental, and percentage Simmental show cattle. We believe that it is important for our females to have a certain look to them, but for them also to go out and perform as cows and still produce as high-quality carcasses as we can.
Performance.
We are an Angus and Simmental breeder focusing on having our cattle feature that top-quality show look without sacrificing carcass quality.
Results.
We have also raised numerous State Fair winners in the Angus, Simmental, and Limousine breed. Our cattle also have a strong history of winning numerous awards at the local and national level.
Award-Winning Bloodlines
We have won numerous awards here in the state as well as many winners on the national level as well. Our biggest wins would be the Louisiana State Livestock Reserve Champion Angus female in 2009, Champion Angus bull at the Louisiana State Livestock show in 2007. We have also raised numerous State Fair winners in the Angus, Simmental, and Limousine breed. The biggest state fair win was the year that we won both Champion and Reserve Champion Percentage Simmental Female in 2017.
How We Work
Our show cattle are available seasonally here on the farm, we primarily work with youth local to Tangipahoa Parish and surrounding areas and we will go out of our way to help the youth of any age here locally all the way up to the national level. We also can help locate the right animal for you from anywhere in the country.
